Hey, I think the new solution of Enfold’s cookie consent message is basically great. From what I can see it is GDBR and will be e-privacy compliant.
But I have one question. If I use the modal window, a click on the button of the message bar opens the window. I can set what I want and close the modal window. But the actual cookie message remains visible and cannot be closed or won’t disappear by closing the modal window. Is that intentional? If not, an option to close that message as well would be needed quickly.
Secondly, will the modal window be added to the extended styling elements at some point?
Thank you guys very much vor your great work on Enfold.

Could you please give us a link to your website, we need more context to be able to help you.

VictoriaMay 23, 2018 at 8:34 pm #961188Same here, there is no way to dismiss the cookie bar.
Dunno how to give the credentials to you to investigate further :D
update Ah. Now I see…May 24, 2018 at 8:06 am #961365Hey, here is the link (it’s a testing environment, please see private content). I could reproduce the issue on other sites I maintain, however, without finding the time to dig deeper into the issue this seems to ouccur when you have only one button defined (e.g. I accept or OK).
Thanks!
May 24, 2018 at 9:49 am #961395Ha! Today it’s different.
Yesterday the cookie and privacy section in the theme menu came up completely w/o the section for the button(s). Then it was saved in this way, of course. Today the section is back and editable, so after saving the buttun is there and working.
Could it be a local or at least browser related issue? (I work in Chromium on a 64bit Windows system). Only change I can see is the systems fresh start.May 24, 2018 at 2:42 pm #961556I have the same problem…
The cookie and privacy section in the theme menu is coming up completely without the section for the button(s).
No link and “ok” on front end.May 25, 2018 at 9:52 am #961996Same here: no button section in Cookie-Consent-Theme-settings – on multiple Enfold installs…
May 25, 2018 at 4:45 pm #962248Hi,
@eee_lala: The button is inside the cookie consent container when I checked the site. Is this fixed on your end?@L+T: The site doesn’t exist. Please check the url.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 25, 2018 at 6:47 pm #962338Hi Ismael,
yes, the button is now implemented. Thank you for checking.
Another problem seems to be more persistent: the styling for the cookie consent bar I set in the special element styling does not work on several of my Enfold projects. Although I set i.e. a background color, it stays dark greay 10%transparent. Is this a known issue? Are any workarounds for this already known?
Thanks and keep it up!- This reply was modified 6 years, 6 months ago by eee_lala.

VictoriaMay 27, 2018 at 6:15 pm #962849er… what?
May 28, 2018 at 9:16 am #962998@ Ismael, I am very sorry, it was a testing environment and our admin deleted the subdomain without asking back. I was however able to figure out how the modal window is supposed to work, so it was actually just me misunderstanding the funcionality of the new system. Sorry for the confusion. My topic in this thread is solved, thanks a lot!
