Hi we are using the media element “Gallery” with the Lighbox feature.

Usually if you click on an image it opens the lightbox and you can swipe through the photos in the gallery. Now it suddenly opens the photo in full resolution in the browser.

Can somebody help please, as it happens on all our galleries.

    Example:

    Cheers

    Hey DJarr,

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for that, though there is a .htaccess login prompt before coming to the login page. Could you share those details as well please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi
We have the same problem. Images in Galleries open in a new tab instead with lightbox.

Updating header.php in the child theme solves the problem at my site.
    Found it here:

Thanks a lot. I replaced the header file and added the relevant lines for plugins and the Google tag manager.
Now the lightbox is working fine. Issue solved.
    Cheers!

I am having the same problem on my website – the gallery image come up in a big black screen without any way to exit or move forward. You can see it here at http://mymodelingbootcamp.com/foundations-four-desgin-studio/.

    Hi FoundationsFour,

You have the old version of the header.php file in your child theme, you need to update it with a fresh copy and add your customizations there. Then the lightbox will work as it should.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Hello! I have the same problem.
Where I can download the header.php for the child theme?

    Thanks!

    Hi spidxel,

You can simply copy the content from the same file in the parent, then add back your customisation, in the same file.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
