Well Done to the Enfold Development Team – Enfold 4.3.2 and WordPress 4.9.6!

I wanted to take a moment to thank the dev team for an incredible release this week. I updated from 4.2.3 to 4.3.2, and also updated today to WP 4.9.6 and am very pleased. While my page speed scores did not improve, page loads are faster and the UX (user experience) better. well done!

While my speed scores did not change, I do like that Enfold is starting to think of this topic and building the theme to be more efficient. I look forward to more options and optimizations in the “Performance Tab” coming in future releases. And I am extremely happy that some of the bugs (self-hosted video being the most insidious) were squashed in this release. I have been pretty critical in the past when releases contained bugs that I thought should have been caught prior to a version release, but in this case I want to thank the team for their hard work. While I have found one bug with the 404 re-direct with complex urls (see other thread), it is fairly minor and I would hope it can be fixed soon.

Thank you very much all, your work is appreciated! Let’s continue this type of quality release with 4.4!
