Hi Enfold,
I just realized something. If I disable “CSS file merging and compression” under performance, Enfold is able to read the style.css file and applies the styles to the site. If this is enabled, ONLY the CSS in Quick CSS is enabled and recognized and ignores the css styles in the style.css file.
Why is this happening?

Hey slui,
Try to check this also Delete old CSS and JS files? located at the bottom of Performance settings.
Let us know if this helps.

Hi,
I’ve done this. You guys should try to replicate this.
So take some CSS and try to manipulate an H1 tag on some page and put it into your style.css file. Turn on performance and enable compression on CSS and JS. You’ll see that it won’t take the manipulation. If you take the same CSS code and put it into Quick CSS, you’ll see that it will work with the compression on CSS and JS on.
If I disable compression on CSS and JS on performance and take the same CSS code and put into the style.css file and remove it from Quick CSS, you’ll see that the CSS in the style.css file will work.
This is what I have experienced. I’ve been able to replicate this a couple of times.

Hi slui,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Are you using a child theme?
