Hi,
WordPress 4.9.5, Enfold 4.3.2.
I use a Google Map element. In Enfold options -> Google Services -> Google Maps I entered a valid Google Maps API Key. Just checked and received the message “We were able to properly connect to google maps with your API key” there.
But the page with the embedded Map throws a warning message: “Google Maps API warning: InvalidKey https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#invalid-key“:
Do I need to worry about that? The map is shown correctly.
Thanks,
Stephan
Hey Stephan_H,
Could you post a link to the page in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi Rikard,
Please see the link in the private content section.
Thanks,
Stephan
Hi,
Did you add the google maps API key inside the functions.php file before? Please provide the login details in the private field so we could check it further. The maps load properly so there’s nothing to worry about. The “retired” version notification displays because the loaded script has the old version number but it’s not critical.
Best regards,
Ismael
No, we didn’t and don’t use any Google maps API key inside the functions.php. We just set it up using standard Enfold interface.
Hi Stephan_H,
Since the map is working, there is no need to worry, for now, later you’ll have to generate another key.
Best regards,
Victoria
