After Update to 4.3.1 on my MAIN site at: http://teroopuatawhai.com, and on my DEV site at: http://ocav.teroopuatawhai.com the Advanced layout editor doesn’t load on MAIN pages.

    I have undertaken the following:
    1. I was already on PHP 7
    2. Deactiviated/Activated/Updated plugins
    3. WordPress version: 4.9.5 (re-updated)
    4. PHP Memory: 512MB allocated
    5. Deleted Enfold 4.3.1 via FTP
    6. Installed Enfold 4.3.1 via FTP
    7. Replaced header.php

    Other issues i’ve noticed:
    1. On (MAIN) pages – Advanced layout editor doesn’t load,
    2. After the update, the “Templates” drop down list on my DEV site (http://ocav.teroopuatawhai.com) displays the same template name twice

Please advise if there’s anything else I can try.

    Hey Reuben,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi,

Can you please check with your hosting provider?
Something is making the loader not work, most probably a security measure.
    Can you please review it?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

Having spoken with my Host Provider, the reply was:

    “Hello Reuben,
    Thank you for contacting HostPapa.
The update might’ve done something to your install and something could’ve been broken.
There’s nothing on our side that could block the configuration.
Can you please reinstall the plugins / themes directly with the updated version of those?
Please create a backup of your websites first.
Let us know how it goes.”

    Hi Te Roopu Atawhai ,

Can you please specify which page I should be looking at? I checked a few pages and the Advanced Layout Builder load on all of them.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

You checked too late and after the issue was addressed Victoria, but thanks anyway.
Having consulted again with my Host Provider, they came back with this:
    “Cause/fix:
It was a firewall rule (false/positive), causing the issue. It has been removed.
This happens as a precaution when a code is injected and considered malicious.
In some cases we need to remove it manually since we know it is not a threat to the server.”

    Hi Te Roopu Atawhai,

    Glad that it’s resolved. :)
And thanks for sharing how it was fixed.
Feel free to comeback if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!

    Best regards,
    Nikko
