Has a solution been figured out as to how to get the updates via our WordPress install to not time out and crash the sites? It really is getting old. My guess is that the theme file is just so large now that WordPress can’t handle it. Before someone makes the suggestion, yes I have increased the memory and all that. I can update other themes, but lately, whenever I try to do the update through the backend it times out part way through and I have to just wait for the Themeforest download to be updated…which the latest one isn’t there yet. Perhaps it is time to consider temporarily disabling that feature until such a time that WordPress, or whomever else, has figured out a solution.

    Hey Kahil,

Thank you very much for the feedback.
Unfortunately that is not only from us, but it is also something related on the way every server work.
For example, I can update without an issue, but my hosting provider offers me 2GB of memory limit so there is no problem at all.

We are still going to take some ideas on how we can work that out.

    Best regards,
    Basilis
