Hi There,
I bought this theme on advice from friends that recommended it. I’m wanting to work on it on a local host to try and switch my existing website (on a different theme) to this one. I’m trying to upload the theme zip file and I keep getting the error message:“Warning: POST Content-Length of 16143208 bytes exceeds the limits of 8388609 bytes in UNKNOWN on line 0
The link you followed has expired.
Please try again.”
I haven’t had any problems in uploading the theme before.
Can you please advise.
If I can’t work on this new theme on my local host, it’s a total waste of money for me.
Thanks.

Thanks for contacting us.
The issue is related to your virtual server settings. Please increase “upload_max_filesize” and “post_max_size” values. this post may be helpful locating your php.ini file :)

YigitMay 13, 2018 at 12:57 pm #956019I’ve got the similar problem. Today I’ve bought a third licence for Enfold. I always use the same hosting provider and I didn’t have any problems in the past. I have tried upload zip file a few times today and without any result. Always the same message:
The link you followed has expired.
Please try again. Is there any less complicated way to fix it? I’m pretty sure that I installed Enfold on a host with the same parameters like today and it was uploaded without any inconviniences.
Regards,

RikardMay 14, 2018 at 10:33 am #956352Hi Support Team,
Thanks for your suggestion of altering the php.ini file. I’ve located the these files, in two versions, php.ini-development and php.ini-production and made the changes to increase “upload_max_filesize” and “post_max_size” values as appropriate. The “post_max_size” file only exists on the php.ini-production file.
I’m still getting exactly the same error when trying to upload the Enfold Theme Zip file. Not sure what to try next?
Thanks

I might be missing something here, but if you are working locally, then why don’t you simply unzip the theme folder and copy it into the themes folder on your local WordPress installation?
If you want a refund then you will need to contact Envato support for that.
Best regards,
