    Hi,

    I have a site which is fully updated in terms of WordPress, Enfold (4.3.1) and plugins.
    I made a page called “Footer” which I have set as the page to be used as the footer making use of the new feature in Enfold to build a footer with the Avia Layout Builder.

    No matter what I do, I just can’t seem to get this feature working. I have played around with various settings as well as disabling all the plugins but nothing seems to work.
    It is a fresh update of Enfold – not overwritten. I have it working on another site (somehow) on the same server – so I don’t think it’s a PHP issue etc.

    I have tried to get it working using the same build as the one listed but on a different server but it just won’t seem to work.

    Please could you kindly assist as I really want to make use of this feature.

    Hi Victoria,

    I have just tried those logins again now and they do work. Please could you kindly try again.
    Sometimes our server has a bug where you might need to just refresh the page if you get denied the first time.

    You should be running at least php5.6.3 for the code to work properly. Please consider upgrading your php.

    Hi Victoria,

    I have it working on the same server but a different build. So the PHP version would be the same. So I’m not sure if that is the issue.
    I also can’t get it working on a different server that is running PHP 7.

    Hi Basilis,

    I’m not really sure. I can give you logins for that site as well.
    I tried disabling all the plugins etc. I tried various settings, but nothing seems to work. That’s what is so weird.

    I thought I had done something stupid and missed a setting or something.
    Maybe I just need to try a completely fresh install of WP, theme and plugins from scratch, but I really don’t wanna do this.

    Hi Basilis,

    I figured it out. I have edited my footer.php file for my Enfold child theme. I removed it and the custom footer page is now working.
    I need this to work with my edited footer.php file though.

    Hi Basilis,

    I got it working!

    I just copied the newer footer.php file from V4.3.1 and added my code.

    All working as it should it seems :)
