    Hi Erling,

Can you try to switch the theme to a default wordpress theme like twenty seventeen and try if it helps.
If that doesn’t help, please try to check the permissions on your plugins folder.
Does this happen to all plugins as well? or just this specific plugin?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko
Isnt Enfold a standard WP theme? I thought it wasd very common?

If I “switch the theme to a default wordpress theme like twenty seventeen” as you say, will that not totally change what the website looks like? I have avoided plugins and updates because of my fear that it will “fuck up” the site.

I need to see the traffic statistics for my website pascoflair.no – is there a better alternative than WP Statistics?

    Thanks

    Hi again Nikko

Maybe it can be another option to try removing and re-installing WP Statistics as well. How can I do this?

    Hi,

Just to check if I understand your problem correctly; you have a statistics plugin which failed to update, then re-installing it didn’t work either? Did you try to reach out to the plugin developer to see if they can see what is going wrong? Did you try a different plugin which does the same thing?

Please note that we are here to help with problems with our themes, not third party plugins.

    Hi Pascoflair,

The default wordpress themes are those that comes with wordpress (they are named after the years like twentyseventeen, twentyfifteen).
Switching the theme will make your site look different, you can use maintenance plugin to have your site in maintenance mode first before doing this. I was suggesting it since I most likely think that the issue is more on your hosting/server or probably the plugin and not really related with Enfold, this way we could know which is the cause of the issue and point you to the right direction :)

    Best regards,
    Nikko
