Hi!
First, thanks for the greatest theme ever! Been using Enfold for many years and until now I’ve found every solution by myself. However, now I’m having a big problem with the multisite installation. I just keep missing something:
– General Styling and Advanced Styling do not work for subsites, tried to create many subsites while searching for the answer.
– Everything else seems to work but styling.
– I’ve tried with and without a child theme – styling not working properly.
– I’ve tried importing the theme options, it brings the styling options but they do not apply on the front end.
– It’s not a browser or server cache issue, I’ve checked & I’m aware of the server cache while editing the main site CSS.
– Tried ”Multisite Clone Duplicator” plugin as advised in this thread, that caused an internal server error and many other problems, so it’s not an option.
– Main site works perfectly, theme styling for the subsites seems to be the only problem.
Please advise how should I proceed, I’ve searched everything I could find on this issue.
Thanks so much!
May 2, 2018 at 7:40 am #949870Hey manteli,
In a multisite network all your sites will act individually, that means that if you have a setting on your first site, then that won’t affect the others. That is how multisites work by default, so you will have to do the settings on each individual site.
Best regards,
RikardMay 2, 2018 at 8:09 am #949882Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your answer. Respectfully, please read my ticket more carefully. I’m aware that I have to do settings individually for each site, that is not the problem.
However, the problem is that the styling settings I make on the back end of my subsite or through the individual child theme CSS do not apply to the front end.
So, none of the styling I make individually on the subsites do not apply on the subsites. Could you please take a look at my site & example subsite for reference? All information is in private section above. Thank you very much!
May 4, 2018 at 1:48 am #951185Hi,
Please try to re-save the options after making css changes. The css is merged now, so you may find that going to General Styling > Quick CSS field and entering a space so the “save all changes” button is clickable, will allow you to save and re-merge the css that you are using in the child theme stylesheet.Best regards,
MikeMay 4, 2018 at 8:29 pm #951836Hi Mike!
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, I’ve tried re-saving all changes with some changes to Quick CSS many times. I tried now again with a space only, and the same result – nothing changes on the front end. All the plugins are also OFF for the example subsite.
May 8, 2018 at 9:07 pm #953540Hi,
if you save the data to the style.css file, do they work?
I mean, if you try to update through there and not the theme options, will they be visible on the front end?Best regards,
