I often have the problem that a color section isn’t closing (Next content below color section in advanced layout builder, is frontent showing in the color section).
Normally I fix this by adding a color section below the previous colorsection and I drag the content below the first content section in the second section. This fixes the issue most of the time.
But now I have the issue that the main language is showing like it should, but in the second language, the problem with the color sections is showing up.
I added the translations using the WPML translation manager (which only translates the text strings and doesn’t ‘copy’ the page itself with an own layout)

I added the links in the private content, incl admin login.

    Hey sberendss,
I see that you are using a older version that was known to have this issue, please try to update, or install a updated localhost version, because the theme now includes a “shortcode parser” to check for un-closed sections.
You must have the advanced layout builder debugger on, and the shortcode parser will be below.

Yet as you can see I tested your code and found no errors, but please try yourself.
    Perhaps try disabling your plugins?
*Please note, that if you update via FTP, please delete your current enfold parental folder, and then upload the new one, so older files are not left over.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Mike, thanks for your reply.

I made a copy of the site on a test location, so we have a proper test-environment. On this location, I:
    – Put a copy of the same website
    – I deleted all plugins accept for WPML
    – I updated Enfold to the latest version.
After a while, I somehow managed to solve the problem with the unclosed sections (I think it was done by opening the secondary language page and using the auto-repair function of the shortcode parser here).
But one (new?) problem shows up after upgrading to the latest Enfold version: The homepage starts with a content section with a video background. On the main language it shows like it should, but on the secondary language, the video isn’t fitted into the section frame. Please have a look in the link in the private content.

I hope you can help me with this.

    Hi,
I wanted to update you, So I found that the error only occurs with WPML on the transition page. It looks like you can create the translation page and then disable WPML, and the video works fine. But I have asked the rest of the team to take a look and help.
Thanks a lot for your patience and for using Enfold.

    Best regards,
    Mike

Mike, indeed. To sum up the two current known issues, which are possibly related to each other:
    – Sometimes the conent sections on the secondary language don’t close, while they do on the main language.
    – Video doesn’t fit in the content section of the secondary language while it does properly on the main language (only latest Enfold version?).
In all cases, WPML translation manager is used and no other plugins.

I hope the team can solve this.

Thank you very much for keeping me posted.

    Hi,
Enfold will be updated to v4.3.1 tomorrow, or the next day, please update the staging site via FTP when you see this, and post here, as I’m sure it will be the first thing the team suggests.

*Please note that when updating via FTP, You will need the delete the old theme folder and replace it with the new one. Please do not try to overwrite as it will leave old files behind.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Mike, good morning.

I updated to the latest Enfold version (from 4.3 to 4.3.1) but unfortunately the video doesn’t fit in the content section of the secondary language while it does properly on the main language.

Last week I also opened another thread (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/compatibility-issue-new-enfold-version-4-3-1-and-wpml/). Probably this is related to each other. Both cases show problems with page layout of WPML translated pages from the moment I installed Enfold 4.3. No problems on the main language site and no problems with previous Enfold versions.
