    Dear enfold-Community,

    I have set up a WordPress multipage network and created two separate sites ( live-illustration.de and musik.live-illustration.de ) organized by subdomains.
    Both websites are one-pagers, both use anchor links in the main menu, both work just fine on desktop browsers and also on mobile browsers as long as I use the original URLs.

    Now I want both sites to be reachable from other URLs so I set up hidden redirects at my provider:
    http://www.liveillustration.de (and a couple of other URLs) -> live-illustration.de
    http://www.michaelschrenk.de -> musik.live-illustration.de
    Again everything works just fine on desktop browsers, but on mobile browsers the menu doesn’t work at all (nothing happens on click) and there are some weird display/formatting errors (color section with background image resizes indefinitely). When I switch to 301 redirect and the browser address field shows the „original“ URL, everything is back to normal.
    I tried the domain mapping plugin according to this tutorial although I’m not sure it is the right approach for this kind of problem:

    This did not solve the problem.

    I would be very thankful for any hints and tips how to solve this problem and have a hidden redirect with a correctly working and displayed website on every device!

    Thanks in advance and have a great weekend,
    Michael

    PS: For comparison purposes it is set up like this at the moment:
    http://www.liveillustration.de -> 301 redirect -> live-illustration.de
    http://www.michaelschrenk.de -> hidden redirect -> musik.live-illustration.de

    Hey michaelschrenk,

    Why not you change the Settings -> Options to be the URL that you need it to be, that wouldnt fix the issue simplier?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi Basilis,
    thank you for your reply! Unfortunately I couldn’t find the option that you’re talking about (I think you mean the page where I can edit the wordpress URL and the Site-URL seperately … but I don’t have that options in my Sub-Site).
    I solved the problem by moving michaelschrenk.de to the same provider als live-illustration.de and by setting up a seperate wordpress installation.

    Thanks again and all the best,
    Michael
