Hello,
after i updated the enfold theme manually i cannot log into the wp-admin anymore and the site is not working too! The automatic theme update did not work because of the following error message:
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. cURL error 35: error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure
So i made the update manually and uploaded the unzipped enfold theme folderto the server. Nothing more.
Update: i´m uploading the previous enfold theme folder again, hoping that the site will work again then.
Fortunately uploading the original enfold folder worked. So the site is online again. But please tell me why updating the enfold folder via FTP can cause such a big failure? Please help me finding a way to make updating automatically possible.

Great, glad you got the site back and sorry for the problems. What exactly happened when you updated, did you get any error messages?

thank you for answering. There was no error message. I uploaded the unzipped enfold folder via ftp. After the upload was finished nothing worked anymore. The whole website showed a blank white page. So i was not able to log into wordpress anymore.
The auto updater does not work too. I opened another thread fot that issue.
But we need to get that fixed, because behind the wordpress and enfold installation is our secured membership area.
