    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    1.) Adjust the background position on mobile view.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
  /* Add your Mobile Styles here */
  #custom-section {
    background-position: 50% 50% !important;
  }
}

    2.) You can’t set the opacity of the background image, unfortunately. If you want, you can duplicate the section and then make use of the Screen Options panel. Upload a different version of the background image.
