Hi,
I have the latest WP-version in use. When I update to the newest Enfold-version I get an error:
[11-Apr-2018 10:16:38 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_is_burger_menu() in /home/asfaltti/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php on line 26
When I comment that line out, the problem remains with next error:

How can I fix this issue?

Sorry for the problems, could you try to completely delete the theme from the server and then upload a fresh copy of the theme via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

I have tried it two times, but the result is the same.
I am using a version that I downloaded from Theme forest after purchase. I tried with the full version’s theme folder and also with the WP installable files only -versions folder.Best regards,

You are currently using a very old version of the theme, 3.5.4. Please try updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and that should help. Also, please make sure you are using PHP version 5.6 or higher. We would recommend PHP 7.x.

I now switched to PHP 7.2 and updated the theme.
So the problem is now on the site (white screen).

Thank you for the update. Did you create a backup or a restore point? We don’t want to do anything to the site unless a backup is already in place. Let us know once the restore point is created.
If you want to do it yourself, activate the latest version then re-configure the Enfold > Header and Main Menu settings. That should take care of the previous error.

Yes I have saved a backup of the site.
I tried what you suggested but the site was still down. I now returned the old version of the theme. New version is still on the server too.Cheers,

We updated the theme to the latest version. In order to fix the remaining issues, we had to disable to the current main menu. Please delete the old main menu and recreate it from scratch.

Thank you, it is working now.
The original problem why I started to update the theme still exists; I can not edit some pages.It only shows me the loading icon on the page content and I can not see any elements in the builder.

Thanks for the feedback. You are getting error messages on the page related to the Calculator Pro plugin, could you try to disable that to see if the plugin is causing a conflict?

This is an error from the advance layout builder.

Disabling Calculator Pro plugin did not help. The problem is still the same.
About the Layout builder; I have no idea where it is originally from, doesn’t it come in your theme?Cheers,

The app.js file is not from the theme. Please switch the builder to debug mode so that we could check the shortcodes.

It’s still the same script issue. Please deactivate the “JDGallery” and “Calculator Pro” plugins. Remove cache before reloading the page.

Please delete old Enfold theme from your installation and then update newer version you are using to the latest 4.3.1, preferably via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
I tried FTP logins you posted earlier but they did not work for me.

I had to return the old version of the theme because for some reason the whole site had crashed this morning with the new theme. Log said:

Hi,
Thanks for the update. There are duplicates of the enfold folder inside the themes directory. Please enable the latest version and then delete the duplicates. You may need to reconfigure the Enfold > Header and Main Menu settings afterwards.
The Appearance > Editor panel is not accessible. Please enable it so that we can check the theme files.
