Clean Page Templates

I have searched and found multiple soutions that none worked for me.

I want when I click a new page to by default get a clean full width page without all the useless links in the right side bar and in the footer?

Why did you even make this the default? All these links do not apply to me but even if I could change them I really just want to get rid of them. If I need a sidebar on a page I can easily add it with wordpress editors.

I have manually picked blank page for the ones I created but for example using Gmedia Lightbox if one clicks to leave a comment the theme shows the comment page on this default theme and I can’t change that.

I really like this theme but if I am stuck with its default pages I will have to change themes.
