Hi Kriesi
1. My preloader is sticking quite a lot when going from page to page. Please could you help me stop it doing this as it looks like the site isn’t working well.
For you information it sticks on both a wired connection and a WiFi connection.2. Also can we increase the size of the preloader successfully, that is keeping the rotation working well?

Thanks for the login details, though they are not working. Please check and verify.
Also, what exactly do you mean by the preloader is sticking? Please try to explain that a bit further.
Best regards,
RikardApril 5, 2018 at 10:19 am #937574Hi Rikard please see new password below – just reset it.
the preloader rotates onloading the site and between pages. This rotation is not consistent, it stops or sticks and then starts again.

VictoriaApril 6, 2018 at 10:54 am #938185Thank you Victoria. Is there another redirect plugin that you know of that wouldn’t conflict with the loader? In the meantime, I will turn off the plugin and see if that helps.
April 6, 2018 at 10:56 am #938189Deactivating the plugin did not help the issue. Please advise.
April 6, 2018 at 1:31 pm #938253The issue may well be this:
When I entered the custom logo in your Preloader option in Theme Options the logo sat above the preloader which swirled underneath it. So your support people suggested I take the image out of the Preloader option and put this is my custom CSS:
/* PRELOADER */
.av-siteloader {
border: none;
background-image: url(//79.170.40.175/capsulaser.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Blue-swirl-70-2.png);
background-size: contain;
}
This worked well but we still have the issue of it swirling then stops then starts again. for you to see what I mean about the preloader Theme option image I have now put this is as well so you you can get an idea of how that doesn’t work too.Perhaps I can add something to the above to remove the Theme option preloader option from a file somewhere?
Please advise.
Many thanks
HelenApril 8, 2018 at 11:03 pm #938907Hi,
You can add visibility: hidden;
as a rule to hide the preloader.Wouldnt that work out for you?

BasilisApril 9, 2018 at 9:55 pm #939420Hi Basilis
Hiding the preloader is not the issue here. I have taken it out of the theme for you to see.
The issue is that the preloader (from custom CSS code given by your team) is jerky it starts and stops and starts again.
We used the custom CSS because the preloader image via your theme wasn’t working just sitting above the central position which is why I had put it back in to show you.
How can we stop the jerky animation it has currently please.
Ideally we would also like it to be larger but if I upload a larger image the animated circles that move dont work on top of it well.
Your advice is appreciated.
Regards
HelenApril 11, 2018 at 4:36 am #940177Hi,
is jerky it starts and stops and starts again.
It’s not “jerky” on my end and the “stop and start” is normal because the preloader resets. It starts when you click on the link on the current page and stops before the next page loads. It starts again on the next page and stops when the next page is fully loaded.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 11, 2018 at 1:10 pm #940476The previous moderator said that it is loading twice (as you have outlined above), is there a way of stopping it load on the click and only starting on the next page load?
The issue here is this particular client is a opthalmologist laser provider, the custom preloader is ideal because it reflects the circular motion of their device, however the jerkiness is not ideal as it doesn’t reflect the precision they are trying to create.
Any help would be gratefully received Ismael.
Many thanks
HelenApril 13, 2018 at 10:16 am #941380Hi,
This is possible but you have to modify the js > avia.js file. Remove or comment out the following code around line 404.
preloader_active.addClass('av-preloader-active av-preloader-reactive');
Please don’t forget to remove the browser cache or do a hard refresh prior to checking the page.
Best regards,
IsmaelApril 13, 2018 at 10:36 am #941392Brilliant Ismael, it works! It looks like I can’t do this through the child theme though.
If I wished to make the icon larger – I can easily increase the size of our custom preloader but wondered if you could lguide me where I could also increase the size of the white graphic that is animated over the top.
Many thanks
