Hello Kriesi Team,
we are about to translate a website for a client into English. There seems to be a problem with enfold / WPML.
Everything is ok, navigation, all right.Except that the English Frontpage (home) does not always want to appear …
From every page I can reach the homepage in 3 ways:
1) Click on “home” in the main navigation
2) Click on “home” in the breadcrumb
3) Click on “home” above the logoThe 1) works perfectly.
The other two (breadcrumb or logo) do not work. Here an error message appears.Can you pls. help here?

Thank you for the info. The WP login details work but it’s still asking for a verification code. Unfortunately, we don’t have access to that email. Please disable the verification plugin temporarily.

I was not able to see the issue. All the links take me to the home page in German and in this was the result trying to reach the English version.

Now try Mouse Roll-over …
– on “home” in the Main Menu: The hint shows https://muellers-backhaus.de/en/home/ (which seems to be right!)
– on “home” in breadcrumb: The hint shows https://muellers-backhaus.de/en/ (error)
– on the logo “JBM”: The hint shows https://muellers-backhaus.de/en/ (error)In this respect you can currently reach the english Frontpag just by clicking “home” from the Main Menu. Not however about breadcrumb or logo.
That’s what I mean.

This could be a WPML configuration error.

Yes, this is the log, thank you. There are no errors there related to the issue.
The issue could be due to the fact that languages are hidden and that you have the custom permalink plugin that could be overwriting some settings.Best regards,

unfortunately, after 14 days the problem is still not solved. The support of WPML, here has a very good analysis and also made attempts: https://wpml.org/de/forums/topic/logo-link-auf-frontpage-ist-falsch-fehlermeldung/.
Yoast I have now complete off. Since then, the link on the JBM logo works for the English Frontpage. What still does not work is the link in breadcrumb “home”. He leads to the German Frontpage, not to the English.
Can you help us here?

… I had to activate Yoast again, because there were some mistakes without. F.E. Sitemap could not be found, 301 didn’t work, etc.
