Hi Enfold Team!
Our 4th site with your theme, always a pleasure :)
This time we are developing a Pharmaceutical company site and we need to create a modal popup for some portfolio items, which are prescription drugs. The popup must be a text, something like “This info is for HCPs only… are you a healthcare professional?” with a YES/NO reply in 2 buttons, where YES will take you to the specific portfolio item and NO will take you back to the products page. Cannot have a close button due to regulations on this matter.
In order to provide the client with a clean solution to update products, the modal popup shall trigger based on a portfolio category.
Would it be possible to do this using Magnific popup? Checked a bunch of popup plugins, but cant’t find one that triggers by portfolio category. Thanks!

Any popup plugin will need to be customized to be triggered by the portfolio category. So you just pick the one you like and look for the init options and try using it as you need.
If you need further assistance please let us know.

VictoriaApril 2, 2018 at 7:49 am #935939Hi Victoria,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I’m trying to set it using a very simple YES/NO modal popup plugin and I have 2 problems:
1- I can trigger the popup on pages, but doesn’t seem to react to categories or portfolio items. The option is there, but doesn’t seem to work.
2- When the popup is open, the contents loaded on the background are not respecting the page width. And once you close the popup, the layer slider images remain smaller than they are.
Would be great if you could have a look.
Currently the popup is set to trigger on PRODUCTS page so you can see the reaction.* If the plugin is not compatible with Enfold, could you suggest a compatible option that includes a modal popup for free?
** Could this be easily done via Magic Popup, that comes with Enfold? Thanks a lot!!

What code are you using to have this popup? Yes, it can be done with Magic Popup, but you will need to write the JavaScript to do it.
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,

Yes, I tried to input ID44 there, i believe that’s the category for “prescription” (?) as on the EDIT CATEGORY section the browser is “(…)wp-admin/term.php?taxonomy=portfolio_entries&tag_ID=44&post_type=portfolio&wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit-tags.php%3Ftaxonomy%3Dportfolio_entries%26post_type%3Dportfolio”.
Nothing happens :(
Tried to add IDs on each of the options, so far seems the only place the popup triggers is on pages.Feel free to test it, I may be missing something.
April 3, 2018 at 2:04 am #936251Hi,
Have you tried using the Popup Maker plugin? It has more options and there’s a pro version.
