    Hi Support

    I am at the final stages now of finishing this website but one final issue has come up.
    The color section videos that are on the site play perfectly well on all devices apart from a Mac-book Pro Laptop.

    I am using the screen options settings to stop the full screen videos showing on mobiles and tablets but this should not stop it working on a mac-book pro laptop should it?

    Please help this is the last thing to fix.

    Thanks you.
    Iain

    I have included the login details in the secure section in case you need to have a look at the settings.

    If anyone could look at this soon I would be very grateful. I am hoping to get this finished today and this is the only problem remaining.

    Thanks,
    Iain

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details. I’m on a MacBook Air and the video on your front page is playing fine on my end, how can we reproduce the error?

    Best regards,

    Hi iainpdavies,

    There is an error in the console in Safari and so the video does not start. The link shows the discussion of the issue.

    Best regards,

    Hello
    The video still does not play on a Macbook Pro.

    I have tried to make this work using the links but my limited ability does not allow me to fully understand what I am meant to do. Can someone there please make the changes and see if they work. The login details are below in the secure area?

    Thanks,
    Iain

    Hi,

    Did you set your safari browser to autoplay media files?

    // http://adage.com/article/digital/apple-blocks-autoplay-video-safari-web-browser-update/309266/
    // https://webkit.org/blog/7734/auto-play-policy-changes-for-macos/
    // https://github.com/mediaelement/mediaelement/blob/master/README.md#intro

    Please go to the browsers’ Preferences > Websites > Auto-Play panel. Unfortunately, we can’t control this option programatically so users who visited the site should have this option enabled according to the new safari policy.
