Summary: I attempted to update to 4.2.6 last week only to find out that my entire site disappeared. I freaked out and re-uploaded 4.2.1 via FTP back into the same directory and my same came backup within minutes. However, I have just found out that when I’m attempted to create a new POST for a blog post, I can’t type anything in the field below nor can I click the Advanced Layout Editor. I haven’t tried to edit any pages yet, as I just noticed this and wanted to bring this up.
I’m pretty familiar with WordPress and FTP (which is where I do most of my uploading). Would it be safe to blow away the enfold folder completely within the web directory and then re-install the 4.2.1 version back in and bring everything back to that state?
I’m kinda at a stand still until I can edit/create posts. Thanks!
I have found that I cannot edit any pages now or make changes.
Scratch this guys — I’m good. Just blew away the folder and reloaded it. I’m back up and running now.
