    Hey,

    I’ve just updated manually via FTP from 4.2.2 to 4.2.6 (had to delete the events_countdown.php to get rid of that php error as you moved the file into a folder). Since the update, the fullwidth-buttons are broken (the Element Preview via the Avia Layout Builder shows the buttons still intact though). Hope somebody can help me out with this.

    Hi,

    When i try to load your page i get “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”.
    I removed cache and it should be working fine now. Could you please check again and let us know?

    Hi Yigit,

    and thanks for your help! So I got the error today as well, when trying to access the site. I have no clue why this was happening – I’ve used a backup, and now the site is running again and is accessible. And you say, deactivating caching did fix the fullwidth-buttons? I can’t replicate that fix unfortunately – also I would require to keep caching active. DIdn’t have any issues with it until the update from 4.2.2 to 4.2.6. was breaking the buttons.

    Hi,

    You can use the caching plugin now it’s not going to create an issue. Only when you update the theme and if you find any issue purge cache then deactivate the caching plugin load your site and re-activate it again. This will make sure all your cache is flushed and latest files are loaded :)

    Hi Vinay,

    I had to use a backup to get rid of the error Yigit mentioned above, as the site was not accessible. So I am back to the broken fullwidth-buttons, and even if I purge everything, deactive W3 Total Cache, purge again over Cloudflare, pause Cloudflare, reload the site with the browser cache emptied, it doesn’t fix the issue. Would be great if you could have a look again and hopefully identify the cause for this.

    Hi!

    Did you update the theme manually via FTP? Please go to the config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes folder. Look for the duplicate “button_fullwidth.php” file and delete it. Let us know if that helps.

    Hi Ismael,

    yes, I did update manually – as I’ve renamed the parent-theme folder to something custom, I think I only can update manually, right?

    Deleting the “old” buttons_fullwidth.php did fix the issue. Initially, I also had to delete the events_countdown.php, as you moved it into its own folder somewhen after 4.2.2. Are there other files, that are duplicate now?

    Hey!

    Yes, we will eventually move every elements inside their own directory. Please delete the whole aviashortcodes folder on the next update if you’re planning to update the theme manually again. This not an issue if you’re going to update the theme inside the theme options.
