Ahoy,
On my website after someone fills out the contact form once someone fills it out it reloads the page. I have it check to not do that on the contact form. Why is this? and how do I make this not dot this?

I have checked your form and it seems to be working fine, after filling the form and submitting it, the form is hidden and replaced with this text:

The problem is the page loader shows up/ the page reloads after your send. I use this theme for several clients and this is the only site that does this. In the demo is also loads on the page, it does not need to reload the page. It even happens when I turn the page loader off – the page reloads. Typically the page stays on the same page than the message appears. The page does not need to reload.
In the contact form settings I also have it set to display a short message on the same page not redirect.
Please advise how to solve

I have tested it and tried the same settings on local server and could not reproduce the same issue. And I can’t see any js errors also, it’s pretty much a guess on what’s causing it, you can probably try the following things, disable all plugins, use the parent theme (enfold), re-install wordpress and enfold, if that doesn’t fix the issue may create a subdomain with a fresh wordpress install and just enfold then create a form, maybe that’ll help isolate and know what’s causing the issue, if that still doesn’t work then it’s definitely something with the setup of your webhost.

I disabled the plugins, switched to the main enfold theme, and still nothing…
How weird… So i thought of another solution – make the contact form have a redirect once submit is clicked…
I just tried changing the contact form to redirect to another page once the form is sent but it isn’t going to the page. Here is a screenshot…

Hmm, I’m not really sure why that’s not working, I have tried to login but the admin access doesn’t work anymore. Also, can you give us ftp access? so we can try to check further.

The wordpress login does actually work. For some reason my security plugin (All In One WP Security) makes it seem like you are not logged in when you actually are. Once you login with the credentials if it doesn’t take you to the dashboard click the “← Back to ___________” button on the bottom. It should than take you to the dashboard. On that note – do you know why this is?
Also not sure if this helps but this started happening when I updated the theme from version 3.3.2 to the newest.

The wordpress login does actually work.
I’m sorry but the WP login details are not working. Please disable the extra authentication temporarily.

They work… I just used them… I also disabled that plugin.
Login is now just wp-admin

Hi,
Thanks for giving us the ftp access, it’s fixed and working fine now. There are just some old files which aren’t removed from the parent theme which are still loaded and causing the issue. I have created a test page to test the ajax form and all should be good :)
