    Please let me know what went wrong on upgrading the theme! Everything was running fine until I updated the theme and this is what I get on the front page. All white page, with the message ”
    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/trilogy/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php on line 6″

    The back-end WordPress functions just fine, but the font end is not working.

    I just had this same issue come up after installing the latest version of Enfold.

    Can you try the solution posted on this thread:https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-update-causes-error-500/#post-925508 or try to update your php version to atleast 5.6 and above.

    Hello!
    I had php 7.0, changed even to 7.1 (is it sooo unstable? Don’t know… but only could bring the site back, after uploading the offered older header.php version.
