I am having trouble with installing an Enfold Demo. I tried several times. Installing runs without error message, but no media file at all is imported! What can I do?
PHP Version is 7.1, Hoster is Strato.-

could you import the Health Demo (Emma Fold) even today? We’re a bit in a hurry.

MartinMarch 14, 2018 at 5:19 am #926387Hi Martin,
Thanks for the feedback. I tried importing the demo manually but that is not working either, I think the permissions for the uploads folder are wrong on the server your site is hosted on. I’m not sure exactly how you intend to use the demo? For instance, do you need all the images? We will have to upload them manually for you, so please specify if there are only a few that you need.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 14, 2018 at 9:57 am #926506Hi Rikard,
thanks for trying. It’s easier to start with the Demo, but youre right – I don’t need all pictures.
One question about the Slider in HOME: When changing the size of the window the sitting girl is always visible although she is situated on he right side. How do I manage that? Or can you send / upload this image, so I can look at the conditions?
Thanks for helping, best regards
MartinMarch 14, 2018 at 1:18 pm #926590Hi,
You are getting the error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘url’ of shortcodes.js?ver=4.1:4756
on your homepage, Please check the file and folder permissions for your site. Also please include FTP access in the Private Content area.Best regards,
MikeMarch 14, 2018 at 1:53 pm #926606Thank you, Mike,
we changed the file and folder permissions like the instruction http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/
and then installed the Demo “Health” again. It’s still the same:
We receive a success message but no media files are imported. Please find FTP Data in Privat Content.March 14, 2018 at 1:57 pm #926608See PM below
March 14, 2018 at 4:44 pm #926693Please do not change any files from now on in this account. We are currently working on the site.

March 15, 2018 at 4:18 am #926985Hi,
I see your webhost is Strato, unfortunately a manual install of the demo is necessary.
I have done this for you, please see Private Content area for new login details.

MikeMarch 15, 2018 at 2:46 pm #927351Hi Mike,
many thanks for installing the demo, that is very helpful!
Is there a chance to find out what the problem is with Strato? Thanks and best regards,
MartinMarch 16, 2018 at 2:02 am #927831Hi,
Unfortunately it is not hopeful, after nearly a dozen cases Strato has offered a different cause in each case with none successful. The closest we ever got was that Strato is blocking the kriesi.at ip where the demos are stored.
The good news is after the demo imports, I have never heard a complaint about Strato. In the future, try installing a localhost version of Enfold, install the demo you wish, then copy the images and database to your live site.
Best regards,

“In the future, try installing a localhost version of Enfold, install the demo you wish, then copy the images and database to your live site.”
We will try to work that out.
Still we are considering changing the hoster.
