I installed enfold but then I can’t save any changes. In the log error file I see this error: Error in themes/enfold/header.php line 6.

    The site doesn’t run.

I can’t also download the demo “enfold construction”.

    Thanks

    Hey rosi67,

Can you give us temporary admin access and ftp access? so we can check it further.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Dear Nikko,

    below the temporary ftp access:

The site is a public site not a private one.

    I’m absolute beginner in wordpress…

    Thanks very much

    Hi,

Can you also provide ftp host? also is that port 28 or just port 22 (common port for sftp)?

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Dear Nikko,

we don’t have an ftp server.
If you can you have to use sftp (port 28) as I wrote before.

Below the administration account for the site

    Thanks a lot

Can be the php version of my server?

    Our version is PHP 5.4.16

    Hi,

That is bad – yes. Terrible bad!
WordPress it self needs 5.6+ to work, but we recommend ( as WordPress Core team also ) 7.0+

But we have another wordpress site (stockholm theme) with the same PHP version and site doesn’t have problem.

In enfold page on themeforest I can’t see about php version requested.

Can I modify theme enfold for my PHP version?
If yes can you write me where and how modify code?

Have you check further as we wrote me?
    Thanks

    Hi,

I don’t think modifying the theme files to work with 5.4 would be a very realistic option, are you not able to update to at least 5.6? I can’t understand why anyone would want to run that version, if I were in your shoes then I would run PHP7 as it will improve the performance of your site greatly.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
