    Hi, the Demo Import doesn’t work on my strato hosting. I got the message refresh and try again later. I have testet on several days. Hosting is Strato, PHP Boost don’t activate. PHP memory limit is not the problem. I have testet demo import on my Macbook with server “mamp”. This works.

    Hi,

    Please create an other topic for us, so we can check and help you out with it.
    Please try to increase the allocated memory to 256M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
    You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.

    I have increased the php memory limit but this doesn’t solve the problem.

    Hi,

    Did you try to import the demo manually? I posted instructions in my previous reply.

    You could also try to clear your installation using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/, and then try the import again.

    I use wordpress reset, but still no import possible.
    When I try to import manually:

    Failed to import Media “logo-construction”
    Failed to import Media “Architect handling keys to a couple”
    Failed to import Media “Construction site machines”
    Failed to import Media “Cropped hand of a carpenter”
    Failed to import Media “Modern home”
    Failed to import Media “Scale Ruler on Blueprints”
    Failed to import Media “Superb backyard”
    Failed to import Media “Urban development”
    Failed to import Media “team-banner2”
    Failed to import Media “house-wire-model-fade-white”
    Failed to import Media “House interior”

    Sorry for the problem, those error messages are shown because those file already exist. Do you mind if we try to clear the installation and try to import manually?

    Hi,

    Define a higher memory limit in WordPress and if possible increasing the memory on the hosting server should resolve this issue.

    To increase the WordPress memory limit please access wp-config.php file and add the below line 

    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

    For a detailed explanation please check this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
    and you can contact your service provider to increase the memory limit.
