Hello there – I’m having some trouble with the sizes of blog post images. Some of them are showing up the correct size, but looking pixelated, and others are showing up smaller and justified left. I’d like all the blog post images to be as wide as the text and in good resolution for all posts. My client is a photographer so image quality is important. I’m wondering if part of the problem is the quantity of images on her site? She has tons of photos – could that affect this?
The blog page also has a spacing issue in the “More from the Blog” section – posts aren’t lined up with the search widget, although the grid row for that section is set to ‘align to top’.
Thanks for your help!

Make sure you select a high resolution version when you are adding the image in question. Also, do you having any caching plugins installed?
Best regards,

We don’t have any caching plugins installed – should we?It’s strange because the phots used to show up at the correct size and then they got smaller. When you click on the blog post – this one for example: https://www.katiekaizerphotography.com/2018/01/26/laura-and-chris-a-new-years-eve-wedding-in-ireland/ – the photos start out large and then get smaller as the site loads. Wondering what that is all about?
Thanks!

So this is a new issue? Please try disabling all active plugins so we can see if this issue resolves.

Jordan ShannonMarch 12, 2018 at 7:22 pm #925675I’m really nervous to disable all plugins – won’t that mess up the site in various ways? Will I have to do a lot to get it back or is it just an on/off switch?
March 12, 2018 at 7:27 pm #925678Hi,
It is basically an on/off switch. You disable each one individually, and if it does not solve the issue simply turn it back on.

March 12, 2018 at 7:35 pm #925683Hi,
Yes, this is unfortunately the nature of troubleshooting an issue. I am glad that the sizes are back though. What you would want to do now though is re-active the plugins one by one. When the issue comes back, the last activated plugin is likely the problem.
