The menu bar does not work on mobiles. Nothing happens when you try to tap the menu field in the mobile version. What can I do?

I see. Can you attempt to disable all active plugins to see if this issue resolves.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonFebruary 28, 2018 at 7:30 pm #919231Unfortunately, it did not help. Still the same.

March 1, 2018 at 8:00 am #919439Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for the feedback. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.2.4) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
RikardMarch 1, 2018 at 8:52 am #919467Hallo. The site gives me this note: No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2.3) – so I can’t get the 4.2.4.
March 1, 2018 at 9:08 am #919481Hi,
Can you try to update the theme via ftp? you should find the instructions in Rikard’s link, which has this title: Update manually via FTP
Best regards,
NikkoMarch 1, 2018 at 9:16 am #919485I can’t work with FTP – I don’t know how, but why can’t I see the update 4.2.4 on my site?
I just bought the theme because I do not understand the work behind the system – and would have an easy access that ordinary people could use. Should the problem not be solved in an update already? Will the 4.2.4 update automatically come over time, if I wait? The problem is that my site gets 60 percent of the clicks from mobile devices – and they can not see my page. So I lose customers on it.
March 1, 2018 at 10:36 am #919519Hi,
We are very sorry for the inconvenience, I’m not sure why you can’t see the 4.2.4 update, that’s why I suggested to update manually via ftp, I have reviewed the thread from the beginning and checked your site and it seems that there’s a js error showing in the web console which prevents the burger menu/menu bar from working properly. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

March 1, 2018 at 9:34 pm #919930Hi,
On which link on the plugin?
Just install it, WordPress most probably gets your country and shows it like that.Best regards,
BasilisMarch 1, 2018 at 10:07 pm #919978I have now downloaded the file, but I don’t know how to drag a file into wp and install it, when it’s not a plugin in the wp itself
March 2, 2018 at 7:37 am #920123Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Could you create a new user and post the login details here in private instead maybe? You can use this email for the user: (Email address hidden if logged out) , just don’t forget to post the login details here in private so that all moderators have access to it.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 2, 2018 at 8:43 am #920164Thank you. It was easier for me to create a new user. The information is in private.
Kind regards BonnieMarch 3, 2018 at 5:55 am #920632Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for that, I see that you are running 4.2.3 and I think this will be fixed if we update the theme to the latest version. The automatic updates are not working on your installation for some reason, I can’t say exactly why unfortunately.
If you want to try to update manually via FTP yourself then you can find instructions here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/.
If you need help with that then please post FTP login details in private as well.
Best regards,
RikardMarch 3, 2018 at 8:19 am #920673It’s not so good that the auto update doesn’t work. It’s also a problem in the long run, that I will not get your updates. I’m very grateful, that you will help me with a manual update. I can’t figure out to transfer via FTP. My FTP information comes in private. Thank you for your help.
March 4, 2018 at 7:02 am #920944Hi,
Thanks for that. I’ve updated your theme to 4.2.4 and the burger menu is working now.
I agree that not receiving automatic updates is problematic, but it’s unfortunately not compatible with all server environments. Updating manually is fairly easy though, all you have to do is download the theme files and then upload them again to your server. You can find instructions on how to do that here if you like: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
RikardMarch 4, 2018 at 10:33 am #920996Thank you very much. I am very grateful that you have solved the problem with the menu bar now. I can see that it works. Thanks.
