I have tried every solution in this forum and none of them seen to work for tracing events on our contact form.

I did, I just replace /VP/XXX/XXX with our UA-XXXXXXXXX right? When I tried that it did not work.

    Hi,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

    how areyou adding the tracking?
I see a tracking plugin but I do not think that is the one you have used, as that is only targeting Book but nothing on the form class?

I removed it from that plugin but I have tried the plugin first, then tried the method in the link above using a child theme. Not only did switching to the child theme change a few design elements, it wasn’t tracking the event.

    Hi,

Did you set up goals in your google analytics dashboard?

Technically you shouldn’t have to set up a goal to view an event. But I just went in and readded all of this as described. I added the script to the function.php file, created the goal and when I test the contact form, I do not see an event or conversion being logged in GA.

    Hi,

You would need to target the class of the element so you can go ahead to figure out how you will make it work.
If you cant through the details Ismael provided, please consider to hire someone to help you ouy.

    Best regards,
    Basilis
