Restricting the post navigation sliders only to posts of a specific category

Hi,

when I add a “Blog Posts” element to a page, I can configure it to only display entries that belong to a custom taxonomy or category.
That is a very nice feature! But when I click on one of those specific blogs the post is opening in a new page displaying these nice “navigation sliders” on the left and right hand side and allowing me to navigate through ALL of my posts. Is there a way to limit this navigation to a custom taxonomy or category as well?
