    Hey!

    I just downloaded Enfold and I replaced an old theme with Enfold. I have two problems:

    Header
    I have used Enfold before and I know how it should work. However, now when I go change the header in the Enfold theme options, nothing happens. I have tried to change orientation of the header from top to left and I have tried to change header’s style in the header options without having any result.

    Now I have different header here: http://www.iida-eveliina.fi/etusivu/
    And different here: http://www.iida-eveliina.fi/kuntavaalit-2017/

    In the page editing view, I don’t have any custom settings for the menu. I have chosen to use default settings for the header in both of these pages. I don’t know how to fix this.

    Layout dimensions = “whitespace on the sides”
    In enfold theme options > General layout > Dimensions I have the default values. Pages content should take 73% and sidebar should be 27%.

    And here I don’t have the whitespace: http://www.iida-eveliina.fi/iida-eveliina-rantalainen/
    In this page I have the whitespace, BUT if I add any layout elements (like Grid row) and add text box inside that, my whitespace disappears: http://www.iida-eveliina.fi/kuntavaalit-2017/

    Could you help me to fix these issues?

    Hey joannapurosto,

    Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    The whitespace disappears when you use components that are fullwidth and so the whole becomes 100% and then you need to set margins and paddings individually. Those are grid row and color section, they normally do that.

    Hi,

    I checked the backend and it is strange the changes you mentioned does not work at all. A plugin conflict may be one of the reasons for this issue.
    To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to the latest version 4.2.5.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

    We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.

    I deactivated all the plugins. Currently none of them is active.
    I updated Enfold and WordPress.

    Still I can’t make a header where logo and menu would be centered. Also the menu isn’t sticky in this site for example: http://www.iida-eveliina.fi/etusivu/

    Oh, in the blog, header is centered: http://www.iida-eveliina.fi/blog/

    Oh, and if I just copy the content form the page /etusivu and add exactly the same content to new site, menu is centered now! The new site with same content is /home.

    So I guess it works now! Thanks!
