Dear Community
I have marked some posts as privat. So they do not appear until you log in. When you logged in, you can see the posts. But they still do not appear on the post category page. So if you change to a category which belongs to one or more posts the posts do not appear.
Do you guys have any idea?
Best regards

A Private post will be visible only to blog Editors and Administrators. Private posts are not visible in the Reader, feeds, or in any search. This means subscribers, contributors, and authors won’t see private posts.
Please read: Post VisibilityBest regards,
MikeFebruary 14, 2018 at 8:44 am #912136Hi Mike
Thank you for your answer. The user I tested with is an editor, so he should see the post.
The wired thing for me is that I am able to see all privat posts in an overview. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/35pauiigu646c5a/1.png?dl=0)
But with the same user I am not able to see the privat post if I chose the category. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/i3alsatmjg3ojwd/2.png?dl=0)Best regards
PhilippFebruary 14, 2018 at 8:38 pm #912460Hi,
The category page, are you using a custom version build with ALB or the WordPress default?
So we can understand if we have an issue on the way we create a WordPress QueryBest regards,

I think I am using the default WordPress category. What is ALB?
Do you need the credentials to check?Best regards
PhilippFebruary 15, 2018 at 4:59 am #912607Hi,
I have confirmed that if a private post is created by a Admin or Editor, the editor will not see on the categories page,
and the editor will not see in the classic grid, masonry, & modern templates.
The Admin will see in the categories page, but not on the masonry template.
I have reported this issue and it will be reviewed by the Dev team.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 15, 2018 at 7:56 am #912667Hi,
If the private post is created by a Editor himself, the editor will see it on the categories page.
If you guys have a piece of code to patch that please let me know.Best regards,

Perhaps using a function like like this will assist: Display Private Posts to Logged in UsersBest regards,
