    Hello

My client (who has a site that is build with Enfold for a few years now) wants a new website, also build with Enfold.

It is a travel agency and until now each journey was entered separately as a custom post in the website.
In future all journeys will be entered in a external system and then with the plugin “WP All Import” we will import (and sync) all journeys into the website. We do this with a XML file.
(So external software => XML-file => WordPress site)

At the end, it will all be the same. All journeys still are in the website as custom posts, but only the new journeys (or changes) won’t be created directly in the website but in the external system. Few times per day the XML syncs, journeys in website get created or updated, ect …

I don’t know if you know how WP All Import works but the bottom line is that we make a template with the Avia builder and that we enter that template (version with the shortcodes) into WP All Import. Then the plugin generates custom posts with content from the XML, using the (shortcode) template.

=> This all works like a charm. No problem there.

    BUT …

We discover now that not all journeys have the same template: some are 5 days, some 10 days, some 11 days, … In the template each day is a content block. So what we want to achieve is that a number of content blocks get generated, depending on how many days there are in the journey …

    IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Can we use code in the template that checks how many days that are in the journey en then creates the number of content blocks that are needed?

I hope I explained the problem well so that you understand it. I must say that it is even difficult in my native language (Dutch) to explain it, so I’m not sure I was able to do this in English … :-)

    Fingers crossed …

    Hey jurgen1979,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

I’m sorry but this will require modifications, probably a new plugin, that are beyond the scope of support. Please hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.

    Best regards,
