    Hello!

When I click the ‘Add New’ post button I want to have my blog post editor default to a specific format — one that includes the Comments content element at the bottom. I am also using the Postie plugin to allow blog posts to be created via email. When this happens, I would like the post to have the Comments element at the bottom of the post.

I there a way for ‘force’ a specific format the the blog posts?

    Thanks!

    Jeff

    Hey JeffBianchi,

Yes, but I believe that would take a lot of time tweaking the Enfold theme and would be outside the scope of our support. I would suggest creating a layout using our Layout Builder then save it as a template, whenever you create a new post, you just use that template then modify the content. Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Hi Nikko,

Is there a way to automatically apply a template to a post? In other words, when I add a new post, I want the template to be loaded automatically?

    Thanks!

    Hi Jeff,

Unfortunately there’s no such feature available on Enfold, but please feel free to request such feature at our feature request system: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

This system allows us to keep track of user suggestions and lets you vote on the feature you would like to see the most. I am afraid though there is no guarantee that a feature will get implemented.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
