I am not sure if this falls under the Enfold support or not so apoligies if it doesnt.
I am trying to move my enfold Child theme website to a localhost to do some major changes. I am trying to load it to Xamp but I keep getting a message Database too large (240mb).
How do I migrate/clone my enfold site to Xamp/localhost?
I appreciate any assistance you can offer.
(Many so called experts have charged me over $200 to do it and then say it can’t be done)

DarrenFebruary 4, 2018 at 1:34 pm #907509Look here – i would do it with that duplikator plugin too – even this way from live to local.:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLYyecIXOU0On some ISP (internet sevice providers) the time out is low so on great databases sometimes the backup fails.
on that case you can exclude for example the uploads folder and up/download it via ftp manual.Duplikator is a great plugin. – but has no multisite support. On that case it will be a bit more complicated.

February 4, 2018 at 1:35 pm #907510Hey Darren,
Sounds like you need to change the max upload size for your phpmyadmin, try following this video: How to Increase phpMyAdmin Upload Limit in XAMPP
Here is a article if you prefer: How To Increase phpMyAdmin Import File Size Limit In Xampp
Which migration tool are you using?
For smaller / regular sites I like Duplicator & All-in-one-wp-migration
For larger sites: WP Migrate DBBest regards,
MikeFebruary 5, 2018 at 2:47 pm #908015Thanks Mike, will give it a try.
On another note just a quick question, how do I contact Kriesi?
Envato are threatening to void my Enfold license because I have an issue with one of their authors so they are going to close my account and void my Enfold purchase.
I know this isn’t a support question but I cant find any contact information for Kriesi
