Hi All,
I have a layer slider on the homepage with display issues after attempting to add a color section beneath it. Before adding the color section the layer slider was displaying perfectly. After adding the color section below it, the slider went from stretching across the page to looking like it was boxed. I removed the color section, but the layer slider still looked boxed. I tried to adjust the width of the layerslider while keeping the height the same, but that just increased the scale of the slider canvas, the slides, and the text. Everything is now 30 to 40% larger than it was. I also adjusted the scale of the slides, which also did not work to get the slider displaying properly. I tried going back to a previous version of the homepage, but that did not fix the layerslider problem either. And if have cleared the cache several times. I also updated the theme just before doing this work. There is more information in the Private Content. Thanks for the help!

Sorry the login you gave us doesn’t have admin access, we can only see the dashboard and our profile. Please adjust so we may assist. Please revert your layerslider changes so it is the size and scale it was, so we can address the boxed view it has.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 4, 2018 at 6:23 pm #907563Hi Mike,
I updated the user to administrator. All of the layerslider changes were reversed at the time of my first post, and still are. The slider did not revert to the boxed dimensions, it enlarged to about 30 to 40% of its original size. After the layerslider display are fixed, I want to add a color section below it that will contain a special heading and some button links to other pages.
Appreciate your assistance on this!

February 4, 2018 at 7:26 pm #907573Hi,
I’m not sure how it became 40% of it’s original size, and as I didn’t see it before, I imagine you should be able to read the text of the slides. So I went to the layerslider options for your slide and choose 1100px Canvas width for the layout. (it was at 1000px)
Please check and see if that looks like the way it was, if not try 1200px or 1300px.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 4, 2018 at 7:35 pm #907574Thanks, Mike. When I did that yesterday, the height increased proportionally and would not hold at the 450 px. The images and text were not at as large a scale as they are now, even after 1100 canvas width.
Was there a layerslider update as well that changed my settings to some default.?February 4, 2018 at 9:28 pm #907583Hi,
Layerslider was updated, but I haven’t seen any issues about it making changes to existing slides.
I’m not sure what could have happen, unfortunately there is not a revisions option for the slider. Were you able to tweak it back to your liking?Best regards,

Yes, I was able to adjust fonts and text position to a better format. Thanks for the help!
