Hello,
I have installed enfold v.4.2 and am running wordpress 4.9.2 with woocommerce v.3.2.6 installed all without issue. I have imported the Default Demo (https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/) but it does not seem to import anything related to the ‘Shop’ – no products or anything. In fact, the main menu is slightly different and doesn’t show the ‘Shop’ menu item as well as ‘Features’ & ‘Headers’ missing – is something missing from the demo import?
January 23, 2018 at 4:43 am #901130Hey focusedinteractive,
Thank you for using Enfold.
Please post the site url and the login credentials so that we can check the settings. If you have the time, please check if the shop page is set as the base shop page in the Woocommerce > Settings > Display > Products panel.

IsmaelJanuary 25, 2018 at 7:14 pm #902978Hello, I’ve checked what you asked and it seems to be set fine for me. It appears that the demo did not import any products, etc. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
January 26, 2018 at 12:51 pm #903351Hi,
The site is now configured differently compared from the demo. You will lose these configuration if you re-import the demo. Is that OK with you?

IsmaelJanuary 26, 2018 at 5:18 pm #903439Yes that is fine. However, I tried to reimport the demo twice before and the shop/products never were included. Has there been a change to the demo import? Should I re-import the demo? Did you make any config changes to my site?
Thanks!
Paul
January 29, 2018 at 5:31 am #904024Hi,
I didn’t make any changes to the site. The importer is probably not compatible with your server. Please try to import the demo on a local server then migrate it to the live site.

IsmaelJanuary 29, 2018 at 5:51 am #904049Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the response, however I don’t believe there is any “compatibility issue with my server”. Can you verify that the demo should be and is currently importing all the demo functionality?
Thanks much,
Paul
January 29, 2018 at 6:32 am #904078Hi,
Yes, the demo import is working properly on my live server and my local installation. It should work properly on your local server (MAMP / WAMP etc) as well.

Thanks for validating. Please suggest how I should troubleshoot this on my live site. Is this a database issue or a WordPress config issue? Thank you for your help.
Best,
Paul
January 30, 2018 at 12:27 am #904543I’ve created an instance locally. Installed woocommerce, installed enfold and imported the demo and STILL there are no products included in the import. Any help please?
Thanks,
Paul
January 30, 2018 at 4:53 am #904610Hi,
Did you activate the woocommerce plugin before importing the demo? We don’t want to break anything on the current site. Please create a backup first then we’ll try to re-import the demo. Is it OK if we reset the database?
Best regards,

Thanks for getting back to me and looking in to this. Yes – I did install and activate woocommerce plugin before importing the demo. I have made a back up and don’t mind if you reset the database.Thank you!

January 31, 2018 at 6:01 am #905365Hi,
Thank you for the update. I tried to re-import the demo but the product are still not being included in the process. I would like to import the demo manually but I can’t install the WordPress Importer package. I get the following error on the plugins panel.
Installation failed: The package could not be installed.
Best regards,
Ismael -
