Hi.
I uploaded the latest 4.2.1 version using FTP to my server and now I get an HTTP ERROR 500.
Please help
You’re not the only one. Hopefully the developers respond to all these posts about people who are having trouble updating. I don’t understand why this version isn’t showing up under the normal “Theme Update” section of Enfold within WordPress.
Hi SteveOh_UK,
Can you please check server log for error?
Which version of php are you running?
Best regards,
Victoria
Hello,

My Prodiver sent me the error log:
[19-Jan-2018 05:52:32 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/******/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/shortcode-parser.class.php on line 2556
I restore my page with an backup.

Hi!
Please replace wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/shortcode-parser.class.php file with this one – https://www.dropbox.com/s/ld5iiaivyaspw50/shortcode-parser.class.php?dl=0 via FTP. Fix will be included in upcoming update soon.

Yigit
Hi, i have the same problem here. When i put another theme my website works so it is enfold who does the http error 500
Hello,
Also I have the same problem (error 500), after updating to enfold 4.2.6. and wordpress 4.9.5.
When I go back to an older enfold version 3.6. the website is available again but the are severe issues with the header-layer-slider, color-sections and pictures.
Hi,
Please do stay on that version, as we release a new update.
We appreciate your patience while we work on the update that solves any active issues.
Best regards,
Basilis
Okay, I’m having this problem too, more than one site, have reverted back to older version
