    Hi,

    I got an information that an update to my item Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme by Kriesi is now available in my Downloads page. I’d like to know whether I have to replace my old theme with the new theme and which files I need to take from my old theme, so that important changes are not lost.

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for the link but my question was also: “I’d like to know whether I have to replace my old theme with the new theme”.
    Normally I find the theme-updates in the WP – so what is different know and why do I have to download a new version and what happens if I do not change?

    Hi Nicoletta,

    Thanks for the clarification. A lot of other users have reported that they are not able to get the update through the backend either, and to be honest I’m not sure why that is. You don’t really need update to 4.2.1 if you don’t want to, but if you do, then I would simply overwrite the whole theme folder with the new one using FTP.
