    Hi guys,

I have the error “HTTP Error” whenever I go to upload an image over 1100 PX wide. I spent may hours with my host troubleshooting and increasing PHP memory without luck.

Finally we decided to switch to the native WordPress theme, and I was able to upload a wide image IE (2000×2000) without the error.

However with the enfold theme enabled, I continue to get the error.

I have disable all plugins and the problem still persists.

    Hi,

Thanks for the login details. Could you upload the image you are getting an error from to for instance dropbox or google drive, so that we can see the error for ourselves please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard!

Please see below. You can just download the image from the site. I just uploaded it via FTP. Please try to insert that image into a page or post.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, I got an error as well, but I don’t think this is down to which theme you are running since that is core WordPress functionality. The error message I got was that the process exceeded the max execution time, that should be able to be adjusted on your server by your hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Rikard,

If that is the case, why does the image upload with the default wordpress themes? It only occurs when I use the enfold theme.

I already went through trouble shooting with my hosting provided and changed memory limits ETC. they pinpointed it to enfold theme functionally.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, I don’t know why it’s only happening when using Enfold, but if this was a general issue with theme, then all users would experience it, and that is not the case. So it’s likely that the theme doesn’t play all that well with the server environment in question. You mentioned that you hosting provider pinpointed the problem, could you be a bit more specific as to what they found and how it could be resolved maybe? What exactly in the theme is causing this to not work?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Rikard,

They stated it was a Theme issue, and they aren’t allowed to dive into developing issues and directed me to contact the theme provider.

    Hi shefferz,

Can you please check server log for error?

Please check the values for these
    php_value post_max_size 512M
    php_value upload_max_filesize 512M
    php_value max_input_vars 5000
    php_value max_execution_time 300
    php_value max_input_time 300
    php_value memory_limit 512M

    Hi victoria,

Just checked the server log and no errors of that nature.

This was the only error since installing Enfold.

[12-Jan-2018 19:24:45 America/Chicago] PHP Deprecated: Automatically populating $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is deprecated and will be removed in a future version. To avoid this warning set ‘always_populate_raw_post_data’ to ‘-1’ in php.ini and use the php://input stream instead. in Unknown on line 0

    Hi Victoria, any other ideas?

    Hi,

I am afraid you need to contact your hosting provider.
There is not alot we can do from our side to help you get it short out and they will fix it in a moment as they control everything.

    Thank you

    Hi Basilis,

Can you please answer this question (where as I have asked it 2 other times in this thread and the other moderators ignored it)

I am able to upload larger images with the default WordPress themes but not in ENFOLD. How is this the case then it is hosting related?

    Hi shefferz,

I asked my other colleagues to have a look.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi!

As repeated previously, it is actually an issue of the hosting company.
If you check with them, they can tell you what the issue is on the log ( as we use the media uploader also of Enfold ).

They will be able to track the issue down really quick.

    Regards,
    Basilis
