Hi, I’ve tried several multilingual buttons, including WPML your recommended. But all the plugins are too complex while cannot meet my requirement. All I need is to add a pull-down menu with “Chinese” and “English” buttons on the top right corner – I’ve tranlated all the menus and other content of the Enfold theme into Chinese, and I need to install the theme in English for the “English” button. Please tell me how to realize this, thanks!

    Hey sunwuye,

Thanks for the link, though I’m not sure I understand what WPML is missing in your opinion, could you try to explain a bit further please?

    Best regards,

Hi Rikard, thanks for your reply, I tried several plugins including WPML, but found their ideas are all about translating site texts for users, this sound ridiculous to me. I don’t need any software to translate anything for me. What I need is simply install the English version of a theme on a different URL, such as http://www.xxx.com/en, and therefore I need a droplist on the top right corner to switch the URLs for visitors. Such list/button can be found on almost all multilingual websites.

    Hi,

I also find that way better ;-)
You can add the image or the slug on the menu and use that to redirect to different URLs’.

That would work out for you,.

Thanks, I’ll try. BTW, can I installed the enfold theme on another website for the same company, or can I installed it on a different URL of the same website, so that there would be an English version for my business?

    Hi,

If you are going to use it on the same domain, then you can use the same license. For instance; your.domain/en or en.your.domain would be ok.

Hi, I understand your policy, but is it possible to use the template for the same brand and same company but on a different yet similar domain situated on a different hosting – different hosting to be friendly for overseas visitors.

    Hi,

That would not be allowed unfortunately, if it’s on a separate domain then you would need a separate license for that.

Thanks Rikard, could you tell me what’s the difference between Enfold and Enfold PSD (https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-psd-/5189320?s_rank=2)?

    Hi,

Enfold PSD has the PSD files / images and Enfold is a WordPress theme.

    Best regards,
    Basilis
