    Hello,
I’m seeing a strange issue on my installation. Here is a screenshot of the Enfold > General Styling screen where we have set the color of links to be #850507:
    LINK
But the page displays with blue links:
    LINK
And here’s the CSS for the rendered page:
    LINK

It appears that the #850507 value isn’t being written into the sites CSS, so the browser displays colors based on the browser’s preferences.
There are other elements on the page where I see this, but the link color element is the easiest to illustrate with examples. Any idea why this is happening? All help is appreciated. Thanks!

    Hey darksidead,

Thanks for the screenshots. Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for that, it looks like a CSS file is missing or not loading for some reason, I’m not really sure why though. Could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

I just followed those steps. I also did a “Reset All Options” in the settings and imported a fresh settings file.

This fixed the issue temporarily. However, as soon as I made a new change to the styling it reverted back to how things were before (load current home page to see that this is the case).

You may be able to reproduce this issue by resetting all options and importing the settings file I have uploaded in the Library.

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that you can close this case. I found the issue.

In the Enfold > General Styling screen we had a color value that was entered as “##850507”. Having the double-# caused the theme’s CSS file to not load because the browser saw it as invalid.

You may want to consider adding some data validation to the Styling screen to ensure only valid color codes are used.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback and glad you found the problem. I agree with you, there should be some kind of check to see if CSS like that can be adjusted. Hopefully we can get this in a future release of the theme.

I’ll close this for now, please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
