Hello,
I am writing an article on an exhibition using some images provided by the exhibition organizer under the agreement that I will disable right-click function so as the viewers couldn’t easily download them. I installed Envira Gallery plug-in to disable right-click function, but the images are still clickable after I activated it. I contacted Envira Gallery and had them look at my site. They said their product is working fine, but there is another lightbox embedded in the theme which is still enabled. Here is what Envira says:* Disable the other lightbox script from your active theme or another lightbox plugin installed on your site
Could you please let me know how to do it?
I tried a couple of suggestions I found in other threads, but none of them worked so far. Thank you.January 4, 2018 at 9:37 am #893169Hey mfuji,

NikkoJanuary 4, 2018 at 10:06 am #893175Thank you for your reply! I did it but I can still right-click the image.
//activates the prettyphoto lightbox
$(container).avia_activate_lightbox({callback:’avia_lightbox_callback’});My script did not have {callback:’avia_lightbox_callback’});
so I deleted
//activates the prettyphoto lightbox
$(container).avia_activate_lightboxDoes this matter? What else can I do or am I missing something?
Thank you for your help!

VictoriaJanuary 4, 2018 at 8:11 pm #893394Hi Victoria, I know.
In the link you sent, the first option to disable the right click is Envira Gallery. I bought that plug-in but it did not work. I contacted Envira. (please read my original message for details)
They say that Envira plug-in is working fine. But it’s the lightbox in the theme that is allowing a new window to open for the image, through which you can double click.
Isn’t it theme-embedded lightbox that is allowing the new window to open when you click on the image?
You can use this post to check.January 5, 2018 at 4:02 am #893549Is there any way you could verify the enfold lightbox is disabled on my website? Thank you, I cannot publish my articles if I cannot fix this issue. Please help….

January 6, 2018 at 5:00 pm #894122Hi mfuji,
I don’t see the images anymore. Theme lightbox is disabled and so when clicking on the image you’re taken to the image link.

VictoriaJanuary 6, 2018 at 9:20 pm #894209Thank you, so now I have to disable image link?
Sorry for a damn question, I am not a technical person and am so confused. People told me about right click and lighbox but this is the first time I heard it had to do with “image link.”
Do you know how I do it, if that’s what I have to do?January 7, 2018 at 3:10 pm #894348Hi mfuji,
Well, if the user can go to the link with the image, he can right-click and choose “Save image”. You need to write a script to handle (to prevent) clicks on images.

VictoriaJanuary 11, 2018 at 5:36 am #895978Thank you, the issue has been resolved…case closed. If anyone is having the same problem, Envira protection does not seem to work with any lightbox or image link embedded in the theme or plugins. You’d need to delete them manually one by one. It was painstaking.
