Hello,
I’m trying to install the demo import theme called “Enfold 2017” but im running into a few issues and getting lots of errors.
Here’s a link to the error message I am getting: https://ibb.co/dBTaZw
I have double checked and yes I have uploaded the correct theme folder.
Thanks

Did you check the write permissions to the upload folder?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonJanuary 5, 2018 at 12:34 pm #893694same here.. the layout Import: Enfold 2017 does not load! Have done about 10 enfold websites but have never used this layout before. Having installed it it looks nothing like the sample page at https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/

As I mentioned above, have you checked the write permissions of the upload folder?

Jordan ShannonJanuary 5, 2018 at 10:52 pm #893865I have done nothing different from all the other websites that I have used enfold for and the basic enfold theme and indeed other imports work. It is just that particular 2017 one that does not seem to work. The images used are relative links to your website and also the slider then states you require a licence.
You mention uploads folder but do not specifically state what folder. The uploads folder in wp-content is 755 and images uploaded to it work fine so that cannot be the problem.

“Some servers are incompatible with the WordPress Importer, which is what the theme is using to import the demo, so you have to import the demo on a local installation first and then migrate it to the live site. You can use the following plugin for migration.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/”
It seems like no one knows whats wrong.
Not great as I bought this theme based on the reviews and support..
January 6, 2018 at 12:56 am #893910As stated I have installed quite e few enfold websites and used various demo options so my server must be fine. It is just the 2017 demo that fails to install

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?

VictoriaJanuary 6, 2018 at 8:32 pm #894191Just tried the below and it works, although it should not be as long winded as this
“Some servers are incompatible with the WordPress Importer, which is what the theme is using to import the demo, so you have to import the demo on a local installation first and then migrate it to the live site. You can use the following plugin for migration.
