Hello,
I inherited a website from a former developer, with older Enfold theme (3.8) and Child theme setup. Options panel is missing the normal layout, all options are shown in one long list, without navigation column left. Saving changes is not working.
When copying the site to a local server, the options panel is OK, even for older theme version 3.8 and WordPress version 3.6.
There is another website on the same live server, with same versions for Enfold and WordPress, and in that site options panel is OK.
I updated WordPress to 4.9.1, bought a new licence for the theme, updated it to 4.2. Site works fine but options panel still corrupted.
Could you please advise me with the steps to take to repair this issue?

You are getting 404 error on a lot of files, could you check if those actually exist on the server? If they do, then the folders permissions setting likely need to be adjusted.

Thank you!. It’s a long list indeed! But those files are present. And file permissions are OK.
I copied the website to a test folder:
– starting with a fresh wp-installation
– migrating the database (with plugin wp-migrate-db)
– uploading the content of wp-content directory
Now this copy is working fine, with an Enfold options panel in order.
In this copy the file permissions are the same as for the original website.Could you think of a way to discover why a long list of avia files are not loaded?

I don’t know to be honest, but there must be something different on that server since it’s working on your test installations. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they know why the server is responding with 404 errors on those files maybe?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 21, 2017 at 11:06 pm #891400Hello Rikard,
I finally found the cause of the issue: the difference between the main site and the test copy was the .htaccess file.
After building it up anew the Options Panel was functioning all right again.Thank you for your attention and support.
