    Hello,

    since updating to 4.2 I ‘ve been having issues when typing on any field (like title, tags, etc.). A popup is expanded when typing a spacebar at any point, thus not allowing me to type.
    I have narrowed down the issue to variable products and the popup is aria-activedescendant

    It only seems to affect editing variable products.

    Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look? Which products should we be looking at?

    It happens in any product. You can create a new one and try to type a two worded title.
    Alternatively try to edit any of the existing variable ones.

    you can disable plugins and make modifications but please keep them as minimal as possible.

    And also please report any changes made and any plugin deactivations, so that we can alter them if needed.

    Hi,

    I have disabled most plugins for testing except for woocommerce and it seems like it is a direct conflict with the theme and woocommerce and not another plugin causing the issue.
    Yoast, Yoast woocommerce and any other plugin that works with woocommerce, tinymce advance and other plugins are not causing this issue.

    I also want to point out that this only happens with variable products.

    You are right, it is an issue with variable products.
    We are already working on the issue to get it short out, so we would appreciate some patience till we release it.

    I have found a workaround by typing on a touchscreen keyboard at a tablet.
    Did you make any alterations to the site, or were you able to duplicate this externaly?

    Do you have any shorterm fixes via css to this?
    Even if it deactivates some features?

    No, we don’t have short-term css fixes, unfortunately. Will have to wait for the issue to be fixed.

    Hi Victoria,

    I installed the latest update to the theme and unfortunately the issue still persists.
    It is really annoying as you cannot directly type on so many fields.

    Do you have a fix coming?

    There is a new version that comes tomorrow on WooCommerce and we are also publishing a fix, so we do appreciate the patience until we get things out.
