Phone and email link in team section?

I really like the way the overlay with social links works when you use a team member element. the only thing is that my company doesn’t use social media at all since it’s not a part of our line of work. i thought about having a direct phone and email link instead when hovering a picture. is there a way to do it? the custom link function wont allow html to use a href=”tel:” link.
