    Hi there,

    Site worked fine up till yesterday.
    This morning I logged in to add in a basic file – but couldn’t because the layout builder is constantly loading (just showing the wheel)
    So i updated the Enfold theme i have to the latest version 4.2 – and now files can’t save and show an error of

    This page isn’t working
    http://www.xxx.com didn’t send any data.
    ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    Among the solutions ive tried:
    increased memory
    deactivated plugins
    updated enfold theme
    deleted cache
    used different browsers (firefox + edge)

    Nothing works.

    Also, it shows a strange recaptcha wheel for quite a long time whenever i try to access the site – which is very strange as it didn’t happen yesterday.

    We have a very urgent report launching today and would really love some help on this ASAP – and i have bought access to support specifically to fix this issue.

    Hey jo-engageinnovate,

    You might want to consider upgrading your php. 5.4.45 might be one of the reasons the Advanced Layout Builder is not loading.
    Can you please check server log for error?

    Ok – have done both
    no error logs
    upgraded php to 5.6

    wheel still spinning on advanced layout builder.

    pls help!
